President (UAW) – Bernie Faust
Bernie Faust has been a WIARA board member since its inception. He has served on numerous committees and has been very successful in raising money in addressing the WIARA budget challenges. On behalf of the UAW and WIARA, Bernie has been very active in election activities in the greater Oshkosh community. He worked at Rockwell International for over 30 years and a strong member of the UAW, he serves as chair of the local UAW retiree chapter and its chair for almost 20 years.
President Emeritus – Mike Pyne
Mike Pyne has been a board member of the WIARA since 2007 as well as the Board Chair of the WI AFL-CIO, LETC Program. In addition to being the WIARA President, Mike serves on the WI AFL-CIO Executive Board. Mike has been active in the labor movement since 1972 when he became a member of the AIW. Since then, the AIW merged with the UPIU and again with the United Steelworkers. He has served in virtually every capacity from steward to Regional Representative for Northeast Wisconsin where he directed servicing, organizing and political activities. In February, 2013, Mike retired from USW District 2 but continues to remain active.
First Vice President (CWA) – Joanne Bruch
Joanne Bruch was a member of and a staff representative for the International Union of Electronic Workers (IUE) in Milwaukee before retiring. She is an active member of the Walworth County Democratic Party. She served on the Wisconsin Council of Senior Citizens and was a founding member of the WI Alliance for Retired Americans.
Executive Director – Greg Neil
Greg comes to us from the WI State AFL-CIO, where he served as an organizer in the South Central area of the state. For the past nine years, Greg has been working all over the Midwest in union and political work. Greg is looking forward to working with everyone to grow and strengthen the organization. Secretary (AFT-W)- Cyn Wynn
Cynthia Wynn is a Graduate of Ripon College and Marquette Law School. She worked for 31 years as Assistant State Public Defender in the Milwaukee trial office. She is a charter member and past president of Wisconsin state public defender association, and formerly served as a board member of AFT W. She proudly served on program and policy council public employees division for AFT. Cynthia is a lifelong resident Milwaukee county.
Treasurer (UA 75) – Ken Greening
Ken Greening presently serves as Treasurer of Voces de la Frontera Worker Center 501-C-3 Board and Treasurer of Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans. He joined Plumbers Local 75 Union in 1969, serving eighteen years on Local 75 finance committee and as a delegate for Plumbers Union at Southeastern Wisconsin AFL-CIO meetings. He was an active member in Milwaukee Area Labor Council, Wisconsin Fair Trade, Faith Community for Worker Justice, AFL-CIO Solidarity Committee, 10 years on Board of Peace Action Wisconsin, and an honorably discharged Vietnam Veteran. He currently accompanies workers to court with Voces. He is also active in WIARA election activities and volunteers time and resources dedicated to improve lives of retirees and working families in Wisconsin. Solidarity Forever.
