WISCONSIN 2017 LABOR DAY EVENTS

If you’re interested in celebrating on Labor Day, here are some events around the state to attend. Each has a little different character, but all celebrate the contributions of workers.

Madison

Madison Labor Temple – 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Interesting feature: Free music and kids activities

 

Milwaukee

Zeidler Union Square for the parade at 11:00 am

Henry Maier Festival Park for LaborFest from 12:00 to 5:00

Interesting feature: Huge parade with “union affiliates, partners, and allies”

 

Racine

Caledonia-Mt. Pleasant Park in Franksville

12:00 to 4:30

Interesting feature: Food bank contribution gets you free lunch

 

Kenosha

St. Therese Picnic Grounds

11:00 to 5:00

Interesting feature: Beer tent, labor booths

 

Janesville

1795 Lafayette Street

Events are all day Saturday, Sunday, and a parade on Labor Day

La Crosse
