2026 Wisconsin Governor Candidate Interviews
Wisconsin’s population is aging rapidly. Today, one in five Wisconsinites is age 65 or older, and that will grow to one in four within the next four years.
The next governor will make important decisions affecting the health, financial security, and independence of older adults across the state.
To help voters compare the candidates, the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans interviewed each gubernatorial candidate on the issues that matter most to older Wisconsinites, including:
- Access to affordable health care and keeping hospitals open;
- Protecting older adults from online scams and harms from artificial intelligence; and
- Expanding transportation to help seniors remain independent
Watch the interviews to learn where each candidate stands on the issues affecting Wisconsin’s older adults and their families.
